Delhi: Divisional Railway Manager Vivek Kumar has said after the Amritsar train accident, the driver was asked by railway authorities to proceed for passengers’ safety as locals had started to attack. Meanwhile, the driver said he couldn’t see the crowd on tracks because of a curve and darkness and failed to stop the train as it was moving at 90 kmph.
