Teens win first-ever breakdancing golds at Youth Olympics


Delhi: Russia’s 18-year-old Sergei Chernyshev and Japan’s 17-year-old Ramu Kawai won the first-ever breakdancing gold medals in the male and female categories respectively at the Youth Olympics in Buenos Aires, Argentina on Tuesday. Chernyshev, who goes by the nickname ‘Bumblebee’, said, “I felt the power to win today and the thing that I represent Russia gave me extra energy.”
