4 dead, woman seriously injured in fatal road accident

Tirupati: A car collided with a school bus on the bypass road in Narayanavanam mandal of Satyavedu constituency. Four people who were traveling in the car died on the spot while another woman was seriously injured. On Friday, Ramesh (60), Pushpa (55), Bhanu (42), Vanajakshamma (60) and Shivamma (55) of Parameshwara mandal village under Puttur were returning from an engagement in Perambur, Tamil Nadu by car. At Narayanavanam Bypass, the car overtook another vehicle and collided with a bus belonging to Sri Venkatesa Perumal College. In this accident, Ramesh, Pushpa, Bhanu and Vanajakshamma who were traveling in the car died on the spot. While another woman Shivamma was suffering from severe injuries, the locals rushed her to Tirupati Ruya for treatment. A case has been registered and police are investigating the incident.
