Low pressure in Bay of Bengal likely to change by 11th
Amaravati: Under the influence of a cyclonic circulation over Amaravati southeast Bay of Bengal & adjoining East Equatorial Indian Ocean, a low pressure has formed in the same region on Saturday, the Meteorological Department said. It revealed that it is likely to strengthen further in the next 24 hours. It is likely to continue in a west-northwest direction and reach southwest Bay of Bengal by December 11 along Sri Lanka-Tamil Nadu coasts. Light rain is expected in some parts of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Manyam, Alluri, Visakhapatnam, Anakapalli, Kakinada, Konaseema, East Godavari, West Godavari, Eluru and Krishna districts, it said.
