Sunita and Butch’s return journey from the International Space Station
Amaravati: NASA astronauts Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore’s return journey from the International Space Station is continuing. The two of them, along with two other astronauts, arrived from the ISS aboard the SpaceX Crew Dragon. The spacecraft separated from the ISS at 10.30 am today.
After the undocking process, the spacecraft headed towards Earth. It will enter the Earth’s atmosphere on Wednesday at dawn. Immediately, the engines will be ignited. The spacecraft will then land in the waters off the coast of Florida, USA, at 3:27 a.m. ET. The astronauts will be brought out by rescue teams there. NASA stopped the live broadcast as the spacecraft’s separation from the space station was completed. Currently, details are being revealed only through audio. The live broadcast may resume at 2.15 am on Wednesday.
