Infosys Narayana Murthy’s grandson Rohan Murthy gets Rs 3.3 crore dividend
Amaravati: Rohan Murthy, grandson of Infosys co-founder Narayana Murthy, who is 17 months into his career, will receive Rs 3.3 crore from the company’s final dividend for the financial year ending March 2025.
Rohan thus became one of the youngest millionaires in India. Infosys, one of the country’s leading IT companies, has declared its final dividend for the financial year ending March 2025. The board approved a payment of Rs. 22 per share. Thus, Narayana Murthy’s grandson Ekagrah Rohan Murthy will receive Rs. 3.3 crore from Info. Ekagrah was born in November 2023 to Rohan Murthy and Aparna Murthy, the son of Narayana Murthy and Sudha Murthy. He is the third grandson of Narayana Murthy and Sudhamurthy.
When Ekagrah Rohanmurthy was just four months old, Narayana Murthy gifted him shares worth Rs. 240 crores (at that time). Rohan Murthy was gifted 15 lakh Infosys shares. This is 0.04 percent of the total value of the shares in the company. Young man becomes millionaire with a gift from his grandfather. Ekagrah Rohanmurthy received a dividend of Rs. 7.35 crore in March 2024. He is going to receive Rs. 3.3 crores this year. With this, this child has earned a total of Rs. 10.65 crore in dividends from these shares so far.
