A case has been registered against those who made lewd comments on the India Got Latent TV show
Amaravati: A case was registered in Maharashtra on Tuesday against YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia and other YouTubers Ashish Chanchlani, Apoorva Mukhija and others for making lewd comments on the India Got Latent TV show. The cyber branch police have registered a case against them under Section 67 (Dissemination of obscene content through electronic media) of the IT Act after examining the footage of the show, the police said. A total of 30 cases have been registered. It also features actress Rakhi Sawant. He said that summons have been issued to some of the people who have been registered to attend the investigation. Summons will be sent to others soon. Ranveer’s comments on the show went viral and the Maharashtra Chief Minister indirectly signaled that action would be taken. ”Everyone has freedom of expression..but when we disturb their freedom, our freedom will come to an end” he sternly warned. This is the second case registered against Ranveer for making obscene comments. Earlier, Assam Police also registered a case against Ranveer and Samay Rana.
