BBCI announces CK Naidu Lifetime Achievement Award to Sachin Tendulkar
Amaravati: BCCI announced the CK Naidu Lifetime Achievement Award to Sachin Tendulkar, the former captain of the Indian cricket team. Sachin Tendulkar will be felicitated with an award at BCCI’s annual program on Saturday. BCCI sources said that the services provided by Sachin, the legendary player of Indian cricket, are incredible.
Sachin Tendulkar is the 31st player to receive this award. Former head coach of Indian cricket team Ravi Shastri, legendary wicket keeper Farooq Engineer among others have received this award. CK Naidu continued as a first class cricketer for a long period of 47 years from 1916 to 1963. BCCI introduced this award in 1994 in honor of Colonel CK Naidu, the first captain of the Indian team.
