HYDERABAD: The affected farmers complained that they were cheated by saying that they would get Rs 1600 per liter if donkey milk was supplied to them regularly. The victims disclosed that they have paid cash for almost 3 months, but for the past 18 months, they have not paid the milk money, maintenance expenses, shed construction, staff salaries, veterinary treatment expenses. When asked what if the money is not given for months, he said that they have written bank checks of Rs.15 lakhs to Rs.70 lakhs for each of them. He said that if they put them in the bank, they bounced. They said that more than 400 farmers in the states of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka have lost up to Rs.100 crores. It is alleged that this is a big scandal and the hands of political leaders are behind it.
