Former YCP MP Nandigam Suresh arrested

Amaravati: Mangalagiri Rural Police arrested former YCP Bapatla MP Nandigam Suresh in the case of attack on TDP central office in Hyderabad on Wednesday night. He approached the High Court for anticipatory bail to avoid arrest in this case. However, the High Court issued its final judgment on Wednesday afternoon and made it clear that bail cannot be granted. When the police went to Nandigam Suresh’s house to arrest him in the wake of the High Court verdict, the staff there informed the police that he was not at home. After the High Court dismissed the anticipatory bail petition, there were reports that Suresh went into hiding out of fear. After receiving credible information that Suresh was trying to escape from Hyderabad, special teams of police went to Hyderabad and arrested him. Police are moving Suresh to Guntur district.. It is informed that the police will produce him in the court after first taking him to the SP office.
On October 19, 2021, YCP cadres attacked the TDP central office in Mangalagiri. Dharmanasam, Jogi Ramesh denied bail in case of attack on Chandrababu’s house. They are also likely to be arrested at any minute.
