Ratan Tata received Udyoga Ratna Award
Amaravati: Maharashtrian government has honored eminent industrialist Ratan Tata (85) with the Udyoga Ratna Award. On Saturday, Chief Minister Ek Nath Shinde, Deputy CMs Devendra Fadnavis, and Ajit Pawar presented the Udyoga Ratna Award. Ratan Tata has been selected for the Udyoga Ratna Award organized by the Maharashtra government this year. 85-year-old Ratan Tata is resting at home due to health problems. He went to Ratan Tata’s house in South Mumbai and handed over the award along with a shawl, certificate of appreciation and a memento from the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC). On this occasion, CM Eknath Shinde said that Ratan Tata has rendered countless services to the country through the Tata Group, Tata Group has expanded in all sectors and provided employment opportunities to thousands of people. Ratan Tata, who received the award given by the Maharashtra government, thanked the government. Tata group has operations in more than 100 countries in 6 continents. The total income of Tata companies in the financial year 2021-22 was recorded at 128 billion dollars.
