Famous comedian Raju Srivastava passed away

Amaravati: Renowned comedian Raju Srivastava (58) passed away..Srivastava, who was undergoing treatment at Delhi AIIMS for almost 40 days, breathed his last on Wednesday morning. On August 10, while doing workouts in the gym, he got pain in his chest and collapsed on the spot. On receiving the information, the family members immediately admitted him to AIIMS in Delhi. The team of doctors who treated Srivastava worked hard to save him. During the treatment, the doctors revealed that Srivastava did not get oxygen to the upper part of his brain, and as a result, Srivastava did not regain consciousness. Raju Srivastava has been working in the entertainment industry since 1980. In 2005, Raju Srivastava gained recognition after participating in the first season of the stand-up comedy show ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge’. He also acted in many films like ‘Maine Pyaar Kiya’, ‘Amdani Athani, Kharcha Roopaya’, ‘and My Prem Ki Deewani Hoon’ and entertained the audience. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh along with many Bollywood actors and fans has expressed shock over the death of Raju Srivastava.
