Army kills two terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir
Amaravati: As the country celebrates its 79th Independence Day, the army has eliminated terrorists who were trying to carry out a major terror plot in Jammu and Kashmir.
The Army foiled a plot by the Pakistan Army’s Border Action Team in Uri sector of Baramulla district. Two terrorists killed in shootout trying to infiltrate into India.

Combing with robots:- Following information that terrorists were hiding in the Sundarbans forest area of Rajouri district, combing was carried out in the area with advanced robots.
The army is also using robots and dog squads to neutralize IEDs planted by terrorists.
Cave raids: – A combing operation to eliminate terrorists with advanced weapons and surveillance of key areas in the Uri sector is ongoing. The Army is using bulletproof vehicles to give a befitting reply to terrorist firing.
Terrorists have been using the forest areas along the LOC as their bases for some time now, hiding in caves for months and carrying out attacks in Jammu and Kashmir before fleeing.
Sensing this, security personnel launched a special operation to destroy the caves where the terrorists were hiding.
