Bengaluru SIT Police arrested Prajwal Revanna

Amaravati: Former Prime Minister Deve Gowda’s grandson, MP Prajwal Revanna has been arrested by Bengaluru SIT Police. Revanna was taken into custody by the CISF personnel as soon as he landed at Bangalore’s Kempegowda International Airport from Germany in the early hours of Friday morning. Two briefcase were seized from him. Later, the SIT police took him to the CID office for questioning amid heavy security. Revanna has been accused of sexually assaulting many women. As the videos went viral on social media, Revanna went to Germany in April.
Along with the arrest warrant, Blue Corner, Red Corner notices have been issued against Revanna. Ministry of External Affairs is ready to cancel the diplomatic passport. In this context, former Prime Minister Deve Gowda along with Revanna’s father HD Revanna, former CM Kumaraswamy openly advised Prajwal to attend the hearing of the case. Revanna announced that she will attend the police inquiry on May 31.
