Earthquake tremors felt in the national capital Delhi
Amaravati: An earthquake shook the Delhi-NCR region of the national capital Delhi on Thursday morning. The intensity of the earthquake was recorded as 4.1 on the Richter scale. Locals panicked and ran out of their homes due to the earthquake. Earthquake tremors were felt in many cities including Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurugram, Bhiwani, Jhajjar, and Bahadurgarh. Officials said the epicenter of the earthquake was in Jhajjar, Haryana. The epicenter of the earthquake was 51 kilometers west of Delhi, and tremors were also felt in several places in Rajasthan and UP, officials said. He said there was no loss of life or property. Heavy rains lashed the NCR a few hours before the earthquake, causing flooding in low-lying areas. Traffic was severely disrupted. A large number of vehicles were stopped on the road. Water flowed like a waterfall from metro stations and pillars.
