MP Mithun Reddy arrested in Rs. 3,200 crore liquor scam case

Amaravati: Police have issued notices to YSRCP MP Mithun Reddy in the AP liquor scam case and have arrested him. SIT officials informed the MP’s family members about the arrest. A decision on whether to appear in court will be made shortly. Mithun Reddy is accused A-4 in the Andhra Pradesh liquor scam case. SIT officials summoned Mithun Reddy to his office on Saturday to investigate the case and questioned him for 7 hours. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) has so far arrested 12 people, including MP Mithun Reddy, in connection with the Rs 3,200 crore liquor scam that took place during the YSRCP government between 2019-2024. There is a possibility that some more people will be arrested.
