Tejas Express train services will start from tomorrow – Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav

Amaravati: The Tejas Express train introduced in India is the first Semi-high speed air conditioned train, it also has modern onboard facilities with automatic doors, Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said on his Twitter account. He said that the services will be provided from Sunday (26-02-2023). The South Central Railway Division has announced that the Tejas Express train running between Chennai and Madurai will stop at Tambaram station from February 26. Tejas Express (Train No. 22671) departs Chennai Egmore station at 6 AM every day and reaches Madurai at 12.15 PM. On the return journey, Tejas Express (Train No. 22672) departs from Madurai at 3 PM and reaches Chennai Egmore Railway Station at 9.15 PM.
