The High Court has imposed suspension on Jio number 1 till 23rd of this month

Amaravati: The Andhra Pradesh High Court hearing the lunch motion petition filed in the High Court by State CPI Secretary Ramakrishna on G.O. No. 1, issued an interim order suspending G.O. No. 1 till January 23. The case was adjourned to January 20, ordering a counter to be filed in this regard. The suspension of the investigation of this case has been dealt a blow to the state government in the court. The YCP government brought G.O No 1 banning meetings and rallies on roads in the state. Speaking on behalf of the state government, Advocate General Shriram said that they have no information about the filing of this PIL.

The petitioner’s counsel argued that the government had brought GO No. 1 to prevent the opposition parties from bringing the issues to the public’s attention, to which the advocate general on behalf of the government replied that these allegations were politically motivated. Advocate General Sriram asked the court not to hear the petitions related to procedural decisions. The court has imposed a suspension on GO No. 1 till the 23rd of this month. What details will the government provide the courts on the orders of the court?
