LVM3-M3 rocket launch successful-36 One Web satellites into specified orbit

Amaravathi: The Indian Space Research Organization has reached another milestone in the history of commercial launch of satellites. After a countdown of 24.30 hours, the LVM3-M3 rocket successfully carried 36 satellites weighing 5.6 tonnes into Ningi from the second launch pad at Shar in Tirupati district at 9 am on Sunday morning. The name of the launch vehicle used for this launch was changed to GSLV (Geosynchronous Launch Vehicle Mark Three) Mark Three. ISRO scientists managed to complete the launch in 19.7 minutes and launch 36 satellites individually at the designated time. ISRO Chairman Somnath revealed that the first 16 satellites in the series have been launched into fixed orbit. The rest of the satellites have to be confirmed on separation. LVM3-M3 carrier performance is excellent. The carrier has proved its worth once again”, he thanked all the scientists who worked for this mission. ISRO has signed a contract worth Rs 1000 crore with One Web of Britain. As part of this agreement, ISRO launched 36 satellites on October 23 last year.
