Sujana Chaudhary’s Medicity Medical College de-recognition canceled?

Hyderabad: The National Council canceled the recognition of former MP Sujana Chaudhary’s Medicity Medical College. It issued orders on Tuesday suspending admissions for the academic year 2023-24. This college was established by Sujana Chaudhary in the year 2002 under the name Medicity Institute of Medical Sciences at Hyderabad Medical Malkajigiri Ghanpur in Telangana. Medical Council of India has allowed medical admissions for 100 seats in this college from the academic year 2012-13. The number of seats increased to 150 in 2017..Currently 750 MBBS students, 150 PG students are studying in the college.. patients come to 13 departments in the hospital..
Every year the National Medical Commission headed by the Medical Council of India conducts surprise inspections in various medical colleges of the state. Are the facilities in these medical colleges good? Are there enough teachers for the number of students? Are patients coming to the teaching hospitals in the college? The National Medical Commission examines the following matters. It has come to know that there have been many violations of MCI regulations in Medicity Institute of Medical Sciences related to Sujana Chaudhary.. It has been found that the management is acting contrary to the rules.. Therefore MCI has given notices to this college.. As there is no change in the situation, the college announced that the recognition has been cancelled.
