Sadguru Jaggi Vasudev Brain Surgery
Amaravati: Founder of Isha Foundation, Sadguru Jaggi Vasudev (66) underwent emergency brain surgery at Apollo Hospital, Indraprastha, New Delhi. Vinit Suri, senior consultant neurologist at Apollo Hospital said that the brain surgery was done on 17th of this month and the operation was successful. It has been clarified that currently Sadhguru is recovering in full health in the hospital. While informing about the details of this surgery, he told him that he was suffering from severe headache for the last four weeks. He is busy on the occasion of Mahashivratri.. He said that he was contacted on March 15 as the pain worsened. Only then did he realize that something bad was happening. On March 17, Sadhguru’s neurological condition deteriorated rapidly and he vomited. Then he was admitted to the hospital.. CT-scan was done.. In the report, it was found that Sadhguru had bleeding and swelling in the brain. Dr Vinit Suri revealed that based on that report, Sadhguru was in a critical condition and brain surgery was performed on him within a few hours. The surgery was performed by a team of doctors led by Vinit Suri, Pranav Kumar, Sudhir Tyagi and S Chatterjee. He said that he is currently healthy, his brain, body and vital parameters have reached normal status. They said that his health is improving faster than they expected.
