APSRTC arranges special buses in wake of elections-Dwarka Tirumala Rao

Amaravati: APSRTC MD Dwaraka Tirumala Rao said that in the wake of the general elections on May 13, APSRTC has arranged special buses, from May 8 to 12, in addition to regular services from Hyderabad to various parts of AP, APSRTC MD Dwaraka Tirumala Rao has arranged. While 339 services are provided daily from Hyderabad to various parts of the state, 302 additional services were provided on 11th and 206 special buses were arranged on 12th. On Saturday, 38 buses to Ongole, 20 to Eluru, 23 to Machilipatnam, 45 to Vijayawada, 18 to Guntur, 26 to Narasa Rao Peta, 17 to Nellore, 19 to Nandyala and 4 special buses to Visakhapatnam were arranged. Special buses are providing services from BHEL, MGBS, GBS, ECIL, Jeedimetla and Rajiv Gandhi Airport in Hyderabad.

APSRTC will run a total of 323 buses from Bangalore to various parts of the state from Saturday and 269 buses on the 12th. Dwaraka Tirumala Rao said that these buses have been arranged in addition to the regular buses. It has been revealed that these special buses will also run with normal fares. He also clarified that special buses will be arranged for those returning after voting without any difficulty. To this extent, it has been revealed that instructions have been issued to the public transport authorities of the respective districts.
