‘Shariful Islam’ of Bangladesh stabs actor Saif Ali Khan

Amaravati: The accused who attacked Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan with a knife was arrested by the Mumbai Police in Thane on Saturday midnight. Presently he has been produced before the judge for police custody. We registered an FIR and identified 30-year-old Mohammad Shariful Islam Shehzad as the main accused. Police investigation revealed that the assailant is a Bangladeshi. He entered India illegally and has been living in Mumbai for 6 months. His real name, Vijay Das, who works in a house keeping agency, is “Shariful Islam”, “Bijay Das”, “Mohammed Ilyas”, and so on. Shariful Islam entered Saif Ali Khan’s house for the past First, Saif’s younger son, 4-year-old Jeh, entered the room.
