AAP wins Delhi Municipal Corporation elections

Amaravati: AAP led by Kejriwal has won the Delhi Municipal Corporation elections. AAP candidates won majority in 134 seats out of 250 wards of Municipal Corporation of Delhi. BJP gave a tough competition to AAP and won 104 seats. AAP gave a shock to the BJP which has been in power in MCD for the last 15 years. Congress candidates won in 9 places. Independent candidates won in three seats. After the Delhi assembly elections, the party leaders are happy with the victory in the municipal elections as well. Out of 250 wards:- AAP-134…BJP-104…Congress-9…Independent candidates-3.
