Annamalai protested by whipping Himself 6 Times

Amaravati: Tamil Nadu BJP president Annamalai reacted strongly to the incident of sexual assault on a 19-year-old student in Tamil Nadu Anna University on Thursday. Expressing concern over the increase in violence against women in the state, on Friday, in front of a house in Coimbatore, he protested by flogging 6 times. He vowed not to wear sandals until the DMK government is overthrown. He said that from now on he will not do politics in stereotypical ways. Annamalai alleged that women were left without protection in the DMK government and that Gnanasekaran, the accused in the Anna University sexual harassment case, had committed crimes in the past too. He was angry that the police did not open a rowdy sheet against him because of his close relations with DMK leaders. DMK is protesting the anti-people rule, today he flogged himself. A 48-day fast is being started from Friday to oust the DMK leader.
