Britain’s efforts to elect a new prime minister

Amaravati: In Britain, the ruling Conservative Party is trying hard to elect a new Prime Minister. According to the new rules, candidates must have the support of at least 100 MPs to contest for the post of Conservative Party president and subsequently for the post of Prime Minister. In the race for the new Prime Minister in Britain, the name of former Finance Minister, Rishi Sunak of Indian descent is once again in the front rows, and former Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who canceled his vacation and returned to the UK, has also started efforts. His supporters claim that Rishi Sunak has already got the support of 100 MPs. Sunak has not made any announcement on the post of Prime Minister till now. Political analysts are commenting that the politics there will take many turns in the next two days.
