Case registered against controversial director Ram Gopal Varma
Amaravati: A case has been registered against Ram Gopal Varma, a controversial director in the Telugu film industry. A case has been registered against Verma under the IT Act at Maddipadu Mandal Police Station of Prakasam District. Maddipadu TDP Mandal General Secretary Ramalingam has filed a complaint against Ram Gopal Varma for posting posts on social media to insult TDP leader, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Minister Lokesh and Nara Brahmins during the movie vyuham. After receiving Ramalingam’s complaint, the police have registered a case against Verma and are investigating. The Andhra Pradesh Police is cracking down on those who are posting obscene posts on social media to tarnish the reputation of political leaders, make inappropriate comments along with morphing photos and shame the members of the society.
