Crowd of devotees increased in Sabarimala Kshetra-Ayyappa devotees do not come on the forest root

Amaravati: The number of tickets booked in advance by the devotees who visited Sabarimala Ayyappa has crossed one lakh. With the number of devotees increasing at this level, the police are trying their best to control them. Keeping in view the number of devotees, the Kerala High Court has directed the temple authorities to explore the possibilities of extending Ayyappa’s darshan time by another hour. Officials said that around one lakh and seven thousand devotees have made pre-bookings for darshan at Sabarimala Kshetra today. From Pamba to Sannidhanam, the devotees are allowed in groups, and in the crowded environment, devotees are asked not to come through the forest path, but to reach the Sannidhama on the main road.
