CBI ends investigation of MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha

Hyderabad: Statement of MLC Kalvakuntla Kavita was recorded under CBI-DIG Raghavendra on Sunday in the Delhi liquor scam case. It is reported that special arrangements have been made in a room in Kavitha’s house for the investigation in this case. After arriving at 10.30 am, the officers investigated for 7.30 am and 5 officers till 5 pm. CBI officials have already issued notices under Section 160 CRPC to Kavitha in this case. It seems that MLC Kavitha gave the statement in the presence of his advocate. A special CBI team reached MLC Kavitha’s house in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad and recorded her statement. It seems that Kavitha’s statement was recorded in the presence of female CBI officers. Besides destroying 170 mobile phones, it seems that the CBI officials questioned Kavitha based on the statement of the accused Boinapally Abhishek Rao, Arun Ramachandra Pillai, Indo Spirit MD Sameer Mahendru.
