Dadasaheb Phalke Award to Bollywood actress Asha Parekh

Amaravati: Famous Bollywood actress Asha Parekh, who has made a name for herself in Bollywood, has been announced the most prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Awards in the film industry. Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur announced on Wednesday that the award will be presented for the year 2023. The awards ceremony will be held on September 30. In 1992, the Government of India awarded her the Padma Shri Award for her services to the film industry. Asha Parekh made her film debut as a child artiste and later acted in many super hit films. So far Dadasaheb Phalke awards have been received by Raj Kapoor, Yash Chopra, Lata Mangeshkar, Mrinal Sen, Amitabh Bachchan, Vinod Khanna, Devikarani and Rajinikanth.
