Amaravati: For the first time, the hearing of the Supreme Court case was streamed live through YouTube. The trial of three cases on the same day on Tuesday was made available to the people of the country through live broadcast. Along with the EWS case being heard by the bench headed by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, Justice YU Lalit, another hearing by the bench of Justice DY Chandrachud and another hearing by the bench of Justice SK Call, the Supreme Court has live streaming. Soon the hearings of the cases will be live streaming through the special media related to the Supreme Court. At present only hearings conducted by the Constitution Bench are telecasted. Later, the proceedings of other tribunals will also be live streamed. Although the decision regarding this was taken in 2018 itself, it was not implemented. Chief Justice Justice NV Ramana, who retired last month, made arrangements for live streaming on his retirement day. This is the first time that Supreme Court proceedings are telecasted live in the country.
