Fatal accident in E-scooters godown- 8 people died
Hyderabad: A terrible fire accident took place in Secunderabad on Monday night. Dense chemical smoke spread and 8 tourists who took rooms in the lodge died due to suffocation.5 of them died on the spot while 3 others passed away while receiving treatment in the hospital. Among the dead are 7 men and 1 woman. It is known that their age is between 35 to 40 years.. 10 more people are seriously injured and are being treated in the hospital. The fire spread due to the explosion of the batteries of the E-scooters, and because there was no way for the chemical to go out, it spread to the rooms of the lodge. Before those staying in the rooms could calm down, due to the chemical fumes, unconscious, fell down in the corridor and died.
Also, as the fire spread rapidly, some people jumped from the top of the lodge in disorientation.. They got serious injuries. The rest were screaming for help. Some of the local people in that area immediately responded and brought down some of them with the help of ladders. Information was given to the police and fire department…after about 45 minutes but the fire engines could not reach the area.8 fire engines reached the lodge area and controlled the fire. But by then the loss of life has happened.
