Former Chief Minister of West Bengal Buddhadev Bhattacharya passed away

Amaravati: Former Chief Minister of West Bengal and Communist Party stalwart Buddhadev Bhattacharya (80) passed away at Palm Avenue in Kolkata on Thursday at 8.30 am. He served as the Chief Minister of Bengal from 2000 to 2011. Son Suchethan Bhattacharya announced that his father Buddhadev has passed away. Worked as the 6th CM of Bengal. In Bengal, for about 34 years, the Left parties have managed the government. In this, Buddhadev took over the duties as the last CM. He has been suffering from respiratory disease for some time now. He was treated in the hospital several times. He is on life support due to a recent bout of pneumonia.
