Amaravati: On the occasion of Gandhiji’s birth anniversary (October 2, 1869) prominent people paid tributes. President Draupadi Murmu, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar, Prime Minister Modi and many dignitaries visited the Raj Ghat and paid their respects. “This Gandhi Jayanti (153) is even more special. The whole country is celebrating Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. On this occasion everyone should buy Khadi and Handicraft products, it is a true tribute to Gandhi,” PM Modi tweeted.
