Ghulam Nabi Azad who unveiled the new party name and flag

Amaravati: Former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir and senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad has unveiled the name and flag of the new party he is going to establish in Jammu. In a press conference organized on Monday, he disclosed the details and said that about 1500 names in Urdu and Sanskrit were examined for the name of the new party. Finally, Urdu and Hindi were combined and called ‘Hindustani’. He stated that he wanted the name of the party to be democratic, peaceful and reflect independence, hence the name ‘Democratic Azad Party’. The flag is designed with three colors in combination of blue, white and yellow. Azad said that their agenda is the welfare and development of the people of Kashmir. He said that at present his party is limited to Jammu and Kashmir and in the future he will think about expanding it across the country. He said that there will be no ‘age bar’ in the new party established by him, youth and veterans will work together in the party.
