IIT Kanpur has given good news to heart patients

Amaravati: IIT Kanpur gives cold news to heart disease sufferers.. Abhay Karandikar, director of IIT Kanpur, issued a statement on Sunday saying that they have developed an artificial heart. It has been revealed that it will be implanted and tested on animals from February or March next year. If this experiment is successful, it will be implanted in humans in the next two years, he said. 10 scientists from IIT Kanpur, along with leading cardiologists from across the country, have made this heart. Others are currently donating their hearts to those in need of a heart transplant. Abhay said that his artificial heart is a great achievement towards finding a permanent solution to this problem. It is stated that currently 80 percent of devices related to heart treatment, such as stents, are imported from abroad.
