Muslim sculptors making idols of Lord Rama

Amaravati: Two Muslim sculptors from the North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal are designing the idols of Lord Rama to be installed in the premises of the Ram Mandir, which will start in Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh in January 2024. Mohammed Jamaluddin and his son Bittulu were engaged in making these magnificent idols. Jamaluddin also made idols of Ganesha, Durga Mata in the past. They have become so popular that they have received an order from Ayodhya to manufacture Ram idols through online. They make idols entirely out of fiber. The price of each idol will be around Rs.2.8 lakhs. And religion is a personal matter, in India where people of different religions live, everyone wants to live together. Jamaluddin said that he was happy to make the statue of Ram, and that my message as an artist is that art has no religion. He said that it will take about one and a half months to make these idols, and it will take 45 days to move them to Ayodhya.
