The Center has increased the price in support of Rabi crops

Amaravati: Union Minister Anurag Thakur told the media on Tuesday that the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken a policy decision to provide remunerative price to the farmers who are cultivating Rabi crops. According to the Minister, the Union Cabinet has approved the proposal to increase the minimum support prices for 6 Rabi crops for the financial year 2023-24. According to the increased support prices, the price of wheat has increased by Rs.110 per quintal, the price of safflower by Rs.209, the price of kandulu (Masoor) by Rs.500, the price of mustard by Rs.400, the price of hemp by 105 and the price of barley by Rs.100.With the increase in prices, the support price for wheat is Rs.2125 per quintal, the support price for barley is Rs.1735 per quintal, the support price for mustard is Rs.5450 per quintal, and the support price for sunflower is Rs.5650 per quintal.
