Vishnudev Sai was selected as Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh

Amaravati: In the 3 states where the BJP won in the recent elections, the BJP leadership has been working hard on the chief ministerial candidate. Chhattisgarh has chosen Vishnudev Sai as CM. In a meeting of 54 BJP MLAs held in Raipur that day, Vishnudev was elected as the leader of the BJP legislative party. Vishnudev Sai worked as a Union Minister in the past. Till 2020, he held the responsibilities as the state president of Chhattisgarh BJP.
The selection of Vishnudev Sai, who belongs to the tribal community, as the Chief Minister of the BJP high command has become a priority. Former CM Raman Singh, Renukasingh, Aruna Saav, Vishnudev Sai and OP Chaudhary contested for the post of CM. Finally, the MLAs favored Vishnudev Sai and the board announced his name. The new CM was elected under the supervision of three central observers.
