4230 students have opportunity in 423 private unaided schools in the district-Collector Venkataramana Reddy

Tirupati: According to Section 12(1)(C) of AP Right to Education Act, poor students have been given the opportunity to get free admission in private unaided schools in class 1, Tirupati District Collector K. Venkataramana Reddy said. Students from economically backward poor families are requested to apply online by April 10 with details of children who have completed 5 years of age as on April 1 for admission in Class 1 of the academic year 2023-24 in private unaided educational institutions. He said that there is a chance for 4230 students in 423 private unaided schools in the district. Right to Education Act-2009, AP RTE 2023, Section 12(1)(C) provides for reservation of 25% seats in private unaided educational institutions to poor families belonging to economically backward classes. He said to register on http://cse.ap.gov in/RTE website. Socio-economically backward, below poverty line, landless agricultural labourers, disabled, SC, STs are eligible and parents of children are advised to take advantage of this opportunity as facility of free application is provided at village/ward secretariats.
