ACB inspects houses of accused in Rs 40 crore civil supplies scam

Nellore: As the state officials are taking serious note of the scandals that have been going on in the Civil Supplies Department for the last few years, the ACB officials conducted searches in 11 areas across the state on Wednesday. What is the root cause of this scam? D.M Padma has been suspended from duty and is being interrogated in judicial custody. In this scam, data entry operator Sivakumar working at D.M Padma, conducted inspections under the supervision of ACB DSP Mohan Rao at the house. Also, searches were conducted at Padma’s house in Mini Bypass Road, Annamaya Circle, Srinagar Colony. It is reported that the authorities seized documents, gold and some cash related to some properties. The investigation is continuing. Full details to be received.
