BJP’s big victory in Arunachal Pradesh

Amaravati: Counting of Arunachal Pradesh assembly election votes has been completed. BJP has won 46 out of 60 assembly seats. National People’s Party got only 5 seats. Nationalist Congress Party got 3 seats, People’s Party of Arunachal got 2 seats, Indian National Congress got 1 seat and independent candidates got 3 seats. This is the third consecutive time that BJP has come to power in Arunachal Pradesh.
BJP ranks are celebrating in many places including Itanagar.. The Election Commission first announced that the election results in Arunachal Pradesh will be announced on June 4. However, the counting was arranged two days earlier in view of the deadline of the state assembly ending on Sunday.
