CID registered another case against Chandrababu for sand irregularities
Amaravati: CID has recently registered another case against TDP leader Chandrababu. The case was registered on the basis of a complaint filed by AP MDC regarding sand irregularities during the TDP government from 2014 to 2019. In this case, the CID has included the names of Peethala Sujatha as A1, Chandrababu as A2, Chintamaneni Prabhakar as A3 and Devineni Uma as A4. The CID has registered a case with the complaint that all of them acted to cause serious damage to the government exchequer during the time when TDP was in power. A total of Rs. The complaint stated that 10 thousand crores were looted and the government exchequer suffered a heavy loss due to illegal sand mining. During Chandrababu’s tenure as Chief Minister, Peethala Sujatha served as Minister of Mines.
