Direct flights from Vijayawada to Shirdi every day from March 26

Amaravati: It takes about 12 hours to go to Shirdi from Vijayawada by train.. Devotees have been demanding to start flight services to Shirdi for many days. Finally, from March 26, direct flights from Vijayawada to Shirdi will be available every day. Officials of the airline said that an ATR 72-600 aircraft of Indigo Airlines will serve passengers from Gannavaram International Airport to Shirdi every day. It has the capacity to carry 72 passengers. Every day these services leave Gannavaram at 12.25 PM and reach Shirdi at 3 PM. It also leaves Shirdi at 2.20 pm and reaches Gannavaram at 4.35 pm every day. Travel time is 2 hours 50 minutes. Officials stated that the ticket price from Gannavaram Airport to Shirdi is Rs.4,246. The return ticket price from Shirdi is Rs.4, 639.
