Do not play any sound in pubs after 10 pm-High Court

Hyderabad: The Telangana High Court has issued an interim order against the pubs in the twin cities. It has ordered that no sound should be played in pubs after 10 pm. It has been clarified that no sound should be played from 10 pm to 6 am. According to the City Police Act, Noise Pollution Regulation, loud speakers should be allowed only up to the specified limit. It said that no sound system is allowed at night and only liquor supply is allowed in the pub at night. Questioning how permission was given to pubs in places where there are residential houses and educational institutions, the Excise Department ordered to file a counter on the basis of which permission was granted. Notices have been issued to the commissioners of Hyderabad, Cyberabad and Rachakonda.
