First Lithium Cell Manufacturing Center in Tirupati-Union Minister

Tirupati: Emphasizing that India can achieve the target of $300 billion worth of electronics manufacturing exports by 2025-26, Union Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology Rajiv Chandrasekhar on Friday said he was committed to working with all stakeholders. Startups interested in investing in this sector are ready to meet the goals coordinated by the states to support entrepreneurs. Chandrasekhar visited Munoth Industries, India’s first lithium cell manufacturing facility in the electronics manufacturing cluster in Tirupati. He said, “It is an honor that this holy land, Tirupati – is the abode of Sri Venkateswara. It is also a pleasure to be here a day before the birthday of our Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi. I am personally very happy to be in India’s first lithium cell manufacturing plant at Tirupati EMC.
