Health officer raids on chicken pakoda shops

Nellore: As a part of public health protection, on the orders of Nellore City Corporation Commissioner Haritha, raids were conducted on various chicken pakoda shops in the city under the direction of Municipal Health Officer Dr. Amarendranath Reddy and fines were imposed on the shopkeepers on Friday. Officials have seized about 30 kg of chicken pakodas from the shopkeepers who are not complying with the rules and neglecting public health in the chicken pakoda shops in the local Old ZP Office, Subedaru Peta Road and imposed a fine of ten thousand rupees. On this occasion, Health Officer Dr. Amarendranath Reddy said that with complete disregard for public health, many shops were raided for not following government regulations and the relevant chicken pakodas were seized but also destroyed and fined under the first warning. He warned that if such acts are repeated again, not only will the shops be seized, but also cases will be registered against the owners. Similarly, everyone must have trade licenses and maintain 100% cleanliness. He warned that strict action will be taken if anyone violates the rules. Gazetted Food Safety Officers Venkateswara Rao, Neeraja, Prashanthi Flora, Sanitary Supervisor Krishna Reddy, Secretaries and others participated in this program.
