If semiconductors are manufactured in India, 50% financial contribution-PM Modi
Amaravati: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made it clear that 50 percent financial support will be provided to industries coming forward to manufacture semiconductors in India. Prime Minister Modi inaugurated Semicon India-2023 in Gandhinagar, Gujarat on Friday. Participated in an exhibition organized with the aim of increasing awareness about the semiconductor industry. On this occasion, Prime Minister Modi revealed that the Indian government is giving a red corporate welcome to the semiconductor manufacturers. A favorable environment will be provided for the growth and development of chip designing industries. Prime Minister Modi said that he is providing incentives through the Semicon conference and revealed that he will introduce a related course for the manufacture of semiconductors in 300 colleges in India. The government has revealed that this exhibition organized by industries with the intention of providing investment opportunities in the semiconductor sector in the country is contributing to the industrial sector of the country. Famous companies like Foxconn,Micron,AMD,IBM Marvel,Vedanta,Lam Research participated in this exhibition. Experts in semiconductor chip design, display fab, and assembly sectors will discuss investment opportunities in India in this conference.
