Amaravati: The Meteorological Department has said that there is a possibility of heavy rains in many places in the state for the next four days. Saturday:- Light to moderate rains are likely to occur in Uttarandhra, Guntur, Palnadu, Bapatla, Prakasam, Ananthapuram, Kurnool and Nandyala districts. Sunday,Monday:- Moderate to heavy rains at places in Rayalaseema and light showers at places in other places.. Tuesday :- Rayalaseema is likely to receive light to moderate rains here and there. Farmers, laborers and shepherds have been asked to be careful not to stay under trees as there is a possibility of “thunder” accompanied by thunder and lightning in many places.
