India is proud of the world-Successful GSLV-LVM3 launch
Nellore: The tireless efforts of Indian scientists came to fruition this morning and proudly joined the ranks of the world. Until now, the PSLV rocket had the power to carry only satellites weighing less than 2 tones. If the satellites weighing at least 5 to 10 tons are taken into orbit, we will not be able to compete with America, Russia and China. At the same time, if India is to be a developed country in the world’s economic system, space technology must have commercial benefits.
Keeping these issues in mind, the central government has provided a large percentage of funding to ISRO since 2014. Although some experiments failed, it encouraged the scientists. As a result of the hard work of our scientists, the new generation rocket has emerged. Today’s experiment has shown the strength and capabilities of Indians on the world stage.
For the first time in the history of India’s space technology, ISRO launched 36 satellites weighing 5796 thousand tons into geosynchronous orbit. Lift-off took place at 00.07 local time on Sunday. OneWeb’s satellites were successfully separated from the rocket. In just 1 hour and 15 minutes, the satellites were launched into the fixed orbit in nine stages. It is reported that the ground station has started receiving signals from all 36 satellites.
Newspace India Limited (NISL), ISRO, Britain’s One Web, entered into the global commercial market for the first time in an experiment conducted under the agreement. ISRO announced that 36 more satellites will be launched in the first half of next year.
